This feature staircase is more than a design statement – it’s a structural achievement. Spanning approximately 5 metres from ground floor to landing, the mild steel stringer was carefully engineered to carry the full load of the oak treads, glass balustrade and daily use without any visible support columns breaking the space.

From the initial site inspection and design, through to fabrication and installation, every connection point and fixing detail was planned to maximise strength, stiffness and safety over this unusually long run. The result is a clean, floating aesthetic that complements the interior, while the concealed structure does the heavy lifting behind the scenes – giving the client a staircase that looks light and effortless, but performs like the solid structural element it is.
