This solar ground-mount installation in Hout Bay was a full end-to-end job by A Plus Group, and the structure itself is an A Plus Group concept, custom built by our team from the ground up.

We began with a site assessment and detailed measurements, considering the terrain, sun exposure, spacing, access, and overall positioning to suit the property. Because ground mounts rely heavily on accuracy and stability, the layout and levels were planned to work with the real conditions on site — ensuring the final structure would be secure, practical, and neatly installed.

From there, we moved into the design and build phase. This wasn’t an off-the-shelf system — we designed the frame as a concept in-house, then fabricated the full steel structure specifically for this panel configuration and site environment. The aim was a clean, durable mount with solid bracing and dependable support, built to handle outdoor wear and wind exposure over the long term.

On installation, we handled the full ground-mount setup, including set-out, positioning the uprights, assembling the framework, and checking everything for correct alignment, angle, and strength.
